Terms of use
1. The service
Wrappie (Andrei Vychau, ul. Jana Kazimierza 32/122, 01-248 Warszawa, Poland) lets you make an advent calendar of 24 windows and send it to one person as a link. Day 1 opens on 1 December and day 24 on 24 December, each at midnight where the recipient is; days that have already come open right away. Every calendar is deleted on 31 January after the season.
2. Free and Premium
Making and sending a calendar with photos, notes, coupons and real gifts is free. Premium is a one-time purchase for one calendar. It adds voice notes, round videos, more window formats (song, question, letter, scratch card and puzzle) and three more wrappings (Pine, Midnight and Blush) to that calendar. On the website it costs €9.99 including VAT; the price is shown again before you pay. It is not a subscription and nothing renews. Premium stays unlocked for that calendar until the calendar is deleted on 31 January after the season.
3. Buying on the website
Orders on the website are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd, Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom). Paddle is the merchant of record for these orders: it sells Premium to you, takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles VAT, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Paddle handles payment questions and refunds; see our refund policy. We provide the service and Premium itself and remain responsible for them. Purchases in the iPhone app are made from Apple under Apple’s terms.
4. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Premium is digital content that is unlocked straight away. By buying it you agree that we start immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 38 (1) (13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, Art. 16 (m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This does not affect our voluntary refund: within 14 days of buying you can get your money back for any reason, as described in the refund policy. If something does not work, write to us and we will find a solution.
5. Your content
You are responsible for what you put in a calendar. You may only use content you have the rights to, and photos, recordings or videos of other people only with their consent. Content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that harasses the recipient is not allowed. We may hide or delete such calendars, in particular after a report. You keep all rights to your content; you allow us to store and show it to the people with the link only to run the service.
6. Links
Whoever has the gift link can open the calendar, and whoever has the private sender link can change or delete it. Keep the sender link to yourself. We cannot restore a lost link.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. We may change the service if that does not affect calendars you have already paid for.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service. Mandatory statutory liability is not affected.
9. Final provisions
Polish law applies; if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply, and you may also bring a claim in the courts there. Questions: avychev@gmail.com.
